Why we built Blokki
Hello!
You're probably like us. You chose the PT profession to pursue your dream of being a wellness champion in your passion career and to work more freely while taking care of yourself.
But the PT profession has its dark sides too. Maybe you've encountered some of them. If not, great!
While the PT profession is the best of all, it can be frustrating at times — the financial uncertainty, unpaid work around coaching, lack of time, a million things to remember, and fragmented coaching tools that, despite all their features, still require an enormous amount of manual work.
It would also be nice to take a vacation. And get paid for it!
Clients have also become more informed and expect a lot from their PT. But it hasn't always been this demanding. The old-school coaching style was roughly: "up, out, and go for a run". Fortunately, things have changed.
Knowledge increases suffering (and client expectations), but also the quality of coaching. PTs need to know a massive amount of information and apply it individually to each client. Incredible!
On top of that, you also need to motivate and provide support so clients feel heard and understood. Not an easy equation.
With all the extra administrative work surrounding coaching, it's nearly impossible to get to know your clients and give them the time and attention you'd like.
A huge number of AI software tools have also appeared on the market, creating training programs for consumers without a coaching relationship. Not cool…
Frustrating, isn't it? Same for us.
But we believe the PT profession will be more important than ever. In the age of AI, people want genuine connections — and lasting results!
